Cycle of Life
Two young men, from humble backgrounds are on their way to work on a bicycle, passing by a large wall painting, that depicts an almost lost heritage art from the land.
The wall painting signifies Bishnupur Patachitra Painting, one of the ancient folk-art traditions of Bengal that combines folk paintings and folk songs. This style of painting is reminiscent of the paintings of Mohenjo-Daro and Harappa, as well as Ajanta Caves in Maharashtra.
Once a land, so rich in culture and heritage, now depends on urbanization and work culture for daily livelihood.
